Patreon Feature Artists - 2024 Q2

Another update of what you've missed, if you're not in our postcard/sticker club. These artists were guests for April through June, 2024. Make sure to check them out!

Apr - @starrfineart | artbylindastarr.com - Linda Starr
Linda is a long-time creator in the Raleigh area. They were actually one of the first artists we met when we started doing pop-up events. Even though we don't do so many pop-ups now, we see her around at all sorts of art-related events, just because of how active she is in the community. You need to see her exhibits to feel the full impact of her work, but we tried to capture it in this postcard, of a mixed media piece from her Strong Women series. We also bent the rule of not using recognizable people, so that we could share her work with you.

May - @caffeinexdealer - Cass Kentner
Cass is an artist we met through day-job stuff. We didn't even know they made art at first, and there's not really any art on the above instagram feed (yes, that was linked correctly up there). When we realized it, we pressured Cass for some prints, and a bit later stocked (and restocked, and restocked) some pieces... which all quickly sold out. For now, we're back to dropping a "so think you'll get any prints soon" every time we run into them. We encourage you to not give in to peer pressure, but also we absolutely will peer pressure you into making products of your art. This design is also available on tees, from our neighbors at Morning Times!

Jun - @ken_wood_designs | mckennawood.com - McKenna Wood
McKenna is an artist we met while we were in GA for the Creative South conference back in April! We met so many creative minds there, and we're pumped to involve them in the postcard features for you. Oddly enough, with all the artists we met in Columbus, several were from here in the triangle, including McKenna, who's right over in Durham. There's some neat Durham-oriented art in her feed up there, as well as some really neat illustration and lettering stuff!

Stickers:
Floaty Mun - by Jaime, a summery sticker for you, of the boi. he does NOT like water.
Iridescent Flower - by Amber, it's more reflective than holographic, taken from our cycling cap illustration.
Drooly Mun - by Amber, this is him watching you eat, worrying he won't get any, slowly descending into a madness, curable only by one of those fries you have there.
